We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (IT INDUSTRY) to join our dynamic team. As the Director of Business Development, you will play a critical role in driving our company's growth by bringing in new business and clients, with a focus on software development projects. Your primary responsibility will be to leverage platforms such as LinkedIn, Upwork, and other sales platforms to identify and engage potential clients, establish strong relationships, and secure new business opportunities.
Reponsibilities- Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to drive growth and achieve sales targets in the IT industry, specifically focusing on software development projects.
- Utilize platforms like LinkedIn, Upwork, and other relevant sales platforms to identify and connect with potential clients.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
- Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients, understanding their unique needs, and positioning our company's services as the ideal solution.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing deals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical and delivery teams, to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Stay actively involved in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to expand professional networks and generate leads.
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline, and revenue forecasts to senior management.
- Minimum 7 years of proven experience in sales and business development within the IT industry, preferably with a focus on software development projects.
- Strong track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Extensive experience and success in using LinkedIn, Upwork, and other sales platforms to generate leads and secure new business.
- In-depth knowledge of the IT industry, including emerging trends, market dynamics, and competitor landscape.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate the value proposition of our services to potential clients. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset with excellent time management and organizational skills.
